ConferFree is freeware software that includes three capabilities. First, ConferFree enables users to show their PowerPoint presentations online to up to 10 Web attendees. Attendees do not require special software, plug-ins, or ConferFree to be installed, only a Web browser. To start a Web conference, the presenter selects Present Live from the Confer menu that is integrated into the PowerPoint menu bar. A secure link is then sent to the attendees (via email or instant messenger). The attendees then click on the secure link and join the Web conference. Second, ConferFree enables end-users to get assistance from support specialists who have Conferral 2.0 installed a support specialist can watch the end-user operate a software application to provide guidance, or, an end-user can allow a support specialist to take control of their PC to demonstrate how to use the software application. Version 2.1 may include ConferFree users can now be made presenters after joining a Conferral Web conference. When a Conferral user makes the ConferFree user a presenter, all the capabilities of Conferral are available for the ConferFree user during the Web conference.
